Privacy Policy

The Kustos app uses the following permissions:

• access fine location – to detect the location of your device, necessary both to create a report and to show nearby reports by other users
• internet – to authenticate users, download contact data and upload anonymized usage data including bug reports

Basic functionality of the app is available without being logged in. To gain access to advanced functionality, you can choose to log in. If you do, your credentials (including a mail address) will be stored on a server to identify your data.

If you use the app to compile a report, the report data can be stored on-line and can be made available to other users. Make sure that text you enter does not contain any personally identifiable information about you or other people. You can choose to also send the report to a local authority, in which case the report data will be forwarded as a text suggestion to a mailing app installed on your device. You are responsible for the mail you send based on this suggestion.

The app may display ads. In order to do so, certain information may be shared with third parties. User will be asked for their consent in the app, and it is possible to configure this consent from within the app at any later point.
